Community Action changes people's lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

CAANH SERVICES

We provide case management services as well as other direct services, including but not limited to: energy and weatherization assistance, emergency services and mature adult services to low income families.

We work across sectors with our partners: municipalities, non-profit and for-profit organizations to provide collaborative services that meet our clients’ various needs.

CAANH ADVOCACY

We encourage low-income individuals to inform their elected officials of their position on poverty related issues in conjunction with CAANH.

CAANH KNOWLEDGE GENERATION

We support and collaborate with research institutions and other entities to obtain more in-depth knowledge about poverty and in determining the most successful strategies for leading people out of poverty.
